Two New Scholarships Yeats Summer School 2020
We are delighted to announce that two new scholarships will be awarded this year for the 61st Yeats International Summer School 2020.
The Yeats Scholarship
This is a full scholarship, awarded by the patron of the Yeats International Summer School, Caitríona Yeats, granddaughter of WB Yeats.
A full scholarship covers the cost of tuition and accommodation for the School and will be awarded to an outstanding undergraduate or postgraduate student.
The Warwick Gould&Deirdre Toomey Scholarship
Professor Warwick Gould is Professor Emeritus at University of London. He is married to Deirdre Toomey.
This scholarship will be awarded to post-graduate or an independent scholar engaged in original research on WB Yeats resident anywhere in the world outside the UK, EU, USA and Canada who wishes, while in Ireland for the School, to work in Irish libraries and archives. The successful candidate will be expected to give an account to the sponsors of their experience in Sligo and of its value for his or her research project.
The deadline for applications for this years Yeats Summer School scholarships as a result has been extended to Friday March 20th at 5pm.
