It is a busy time for WB Yeats. He has just won the Nobel Prize for Literature and is preparing a lecture for a group of female Trinity College students. As he brings the birth of Ireland’s National Theatre, The Abbey, to life, Yeats invokes the memories of those who helped him in those momentous days: Augusta Gregory and John Synge.
