The Yeats Experience is hosting a very special evening on Friday October 26th to support the Sligo branch of the Simon Community.
The Yeats Experience is hosting a very special evening on Friday October 26th to support the Sligo branch of the Simon Community. Over the past six years Damien Brennan and his wife Paula Gilvarry have hosted the Yeats Experience, a mix of wonderful home-cooked food and the poetry of WB Yeats. As the Yeats Experience is soon downsizing, this tourism season winds down it may be your last chance to enjoy this unique Sligo attraction.
From Jan to July of this year the local homeless charity worked with 22 families, 53 children and 17 individuals in the Sligo area alone. A Simon housing support clinic now takes place in Tubbercurry every Thurs from 10 to 1 in response to a demand for services. This fundraiser hopes to provide vital services and support the Simon Community in the North West.
In celebration of the hard work of the Simon Community and the Yeats Experience, the entire proceeds for the evening will be going to the Sligo branch of the Simon Community. Mary Mc Keon from the North West Simon Community wishes to express sincere thanks to Paula & Damien Brennan for hosting this very special evening for such a worthy cause.
Tickets are €65 pp for the evening event and are available from the North West Simon Community Charity Shop at 4 JFK Parade, Sligo or by calling Simon Community's Mary McKeon on 087 7708865. All proceeds will go to Simon.
