Lucie O’Hara makes paintings with egg tempera and watercolour on pieces of beechwood small enough to lie in the palm of your hand. Subjects include faded scraps of envelopes and photos, fragments of fabrics and pottery, magical landscapes and places.
Michael Cummins is showing paintings in acrylic and ink on papers which are folded into symmetrical zig-zag forms. These are embellished and inhabited with people, objects and shapes in a space that is both chaotic and strictly regular.
