Every September public spaces across the island of Ireland as they open their doors to host a programme of free late-night entertainment, as part of an all-island celebration of arts, heritage and culture.
Yeats Society Sligo celebrated sisters on Culture Night 2019. Storyteller Imelda Ryan Jones and artist Rebecca Massey introduced our young visitors to the beautiful artworks of WB Yeats sisters – Susan (called Lily) and Elizabeth (Lolly) and lead a fun watercolour class.
