The Yeats International Summer School is an annual nine day event, packed with world-class lectures, seminars, trips to the Lake Isle of Innisfree and Drumcliffe, poetry readings, live music and cultural events.
In 2019 we celebrated the 60th Yeats International Summer School, now the longest running academic summer school in the world. Directors Professor Matthew Campbell and Professor Lauren Arrington presented an intriguing programme that followed in the fine Summer School tradition of offering a unique learning experience through the sharing of ideas and opinions, during both the formal and informal events of the programme.
